கங்கை முடிதாங்கும் ஈசனின்சாம கானப்ரியே ||

ஜன்மம் எடுத்தது போதுமே போதும்-இச்
ஜன்மம் நாளும்-உனைத் துதித்திட அருள்வாய்
பிறவிப் பெருங்கடல் தாண்டிட அருள்வாய்-இனி
பிறவா பேரின்பம்-நான் அடைந்திட அருள்வாய் ||

O! Akilaandeeswari! Lover of Sama Gana! Lover of Lord Shiva, who holds
the Ganges on his head to control the flow of water. O! Devi! Won’t
you feel pity on me and shower your kindness? Can’t you embrace me with
your flower like arms and bless me with complete peace of mind? I place your
sacred feet on my head with devotion as though they are ornaments. I become
emaciated the moment I chant your holy names. I visit your divine temple to
hear the holy sound of the conch. I see your beautiful appearance, sitting
on a lion. It is a soothing pleasure to stare at your lotus like feet. O! Devi!
Enough of this birth! Please bless me to leap across the cycle of reincarnation.
Please bless me to praise your glories, during this birth. Please bless me supreme
happiness of not to having anymore rebirths here after.
